October is Power Smart Month.

How does it feel like to live inside a cube while being watched by passersby through a glass wall?

That’s what two actors had to do for three days on the corner of a busy street in downtown, Granville & Georgia. One living Power Smart, while the other living power hog.
What difference does it make to save energy?

Surely, one person’s energy consumption doesn’t seem to have a great impact on the environment, but if everyone in BC were to live the same way, it does have a huge influence.

Every little habit that we choose to make daily will make a difference.

“High” Tea, Anyone?

This is my entry for the “Picture Yourself In Wonderland” Contest in deviantART.
My favorite character is The Mad Hatter because of his crazy personality and colorful costume, accessories.
Everything is vector, done in Illustrator. The part that takes the longest to do are the details on the clothing and hat. I tried to keep the colors and style similar to Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, but also added my own touch to make the character more chibi and rounded.

I’ve added a wood textured background to represent an old wooden table where the Mad Hatter would play poker with his friends as they enjoy their afternoon tea at the Mad Tea Party.
A self promotional piece made for a Portfolio class as a final project.
